International Workshop "Advances in automated cancer registry"
- AACR 2006
Introduction
The advances made in the last years related to automatic codification process
of tumors have taken place gradually, mainly, because of the high information
quality compromise involving the population based cancer registries for decades.
The automation process is complex due to the multitude aspects and rules
to take into account in the development of algorithms, but automation is making
improvements with the collaboration between different professionals: health
