Training and teaching activity

The group collaborates in different undergraduate and postgraduate initiatives of the University of Murcia. Apart from offering seminars and courses for healthcare professionals and researchers, we offer extracurricular internships for professionals from biohealth degrees.

We have organized 4 annual seminars on Cardiogenetics aimed at healthcare professionals and researchers in the past 4 years (2012-2015). In 2005 and 2013 we hosted the annual conference of the working group on Inherited Heart Diseases of the Spanish Society of Cardiology in our region. We have participated in the design of annual conferences of the European Society of Cardiology with roundtable discussions for topics related to cardiomyopathies.

We have participated in the development of different chapters included in monographs about hypertrophic, dilated, arrhythmogenic right ventricle cardiomyopathies and long QT syndrome.
